can someone please explain to me why karen o. wasted everyone's time moaning and groaning like a cat in heat on 2003's fever to tell, when underneath all that racket, she totally had it in herself to be this androgynous, avant-garde disco-queen?
on songs like zero and heads will roll, she totally reminds me of siouxsie sioux, who is like the queen supreme of androgynous, avant-garde disco.
clearly, i'm into it.

I love you for saying this!! I just posted the zero video to Facebook and was telling everyone that she is the new Siouxsie. No one saw it.
She sounds SO MUCH like Siouxsie on the new album!
I'm buying the album now. I just heard another song on Gossip Girl last night. This sounds like a great album all around!
for the most part it is. there are a few lame songs, but i think the good outweighs the bad for sure.
I'm nearly as old as Siouxsie (I can't even count how many of her shows I've attended) and it tickles me to death every time I see YYY on TV. It was love at first sight I saw the YYY; On the the latest SNL appearance it was almost like Karen O was the channeling LeSioux direct from France.
